Engage in the yogic process of self exploration through the human-horse relationship while in the depths of nature. Horses and nature have a magical way of exemplifying our awareness and presence, and help us to move into deeper contact and connection to the Self. Enjoy a trail ride into the forest, practice yoga beneath the trees next to the horses, share a nourishing lunch with new friends, and ride back with an enlivened sense of being.

This will be an intimate experience of connection in nature, as we are limiting the registration to 4 riders plus the 2 guides.

New to horses? No problem! The day will begin by getting acquainted with your horse, learning proper riding technique and cues, as well as discussing safety on the trail.

Expect to be in the saddle for roughly 3 hours total. A packed lunch will be provided.

  • Riders will meet at White Ranch Open Space in Golden, CO

  • Meet your horse and learn to communicate with them - energetically, verbally, and physically

  • Enjoy a 1.5-2hr trail ride to our destination

  • Roll out your mat for an hour long yoga session

  • Guided meditation with your horse

  • Take a moment to journal about your experience

  • Enjoy a packed lunch (vegan w/GF options)

  • 1.5-2hr ride back to trailhead - feeling more connected

  • Horses are provided!

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations must be made more than 2 weeks in advance to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 2 weeks out will receive a 50% refund. Should we need to cancel the event due to severe weather, we will first attempt to reschedule for the following day, and then provide refunds should rescheduling not be an option for each rider.

**Please note that this event will continue in small non-threatening amounts of rain. Colorado is known for its quick summer rain showers, so please pack appropriately. Horseback riding and adventuring outdoors are experiences that are ultimately up to Mother Nature, so we appreciate your understanding of unpredictable conditions occurring.
